Our Uxbridge Nursery is set in the St John’s Church Hall across the Bishopshalt School. The building has been fully refurbished to the highest standards and has well equipped rooms by age group. The nursery is conveniently located with its own car park for pick up and drop off. The nursery is registered for 98 children and the premises are non smoking, as required by law.

Oliver thoroughly enjoys spending time with his friends and teachers at the nursery, and is always eager to tell about his day and experiences. We have noticed a huge improvement in Oliver’s speech and listening skills since starting nursery. His imagination and independent playing has also improved, as well as his confidence generally. We are very pleased and happy with how he is developing in all areas.

My name is Catherine. I have two children aged 25 and 22. My children are how I came to work in childcare. I stopped work when I had my son and pondered for a while over my career choice. I decided on a whole new direction which would include my children, I became a full time child minder. I had many children over the years, all of which I have built special bonds with and became great family friends.
When my children were older I worked in a nursery setting building my skills further. I took many qualifications from Managerial skills to Special Needs co-ordinator and Elklan speech and language. I enjoy working with children, building bonds and am proud in the fact I have played a part in helping shape these amazing little people into becoming confident, happy thriving children. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all Cheeky Chums families, old and new.
